Description Of Stamp: One Centavos stamp that depicts the majestic Palacio de Comunicaciones (Palace of Communications) in Bogotá, a building that was, and still is, central to Colombias communication infrastructure.
With SOBRETASA PARA CONSTRUCCIÓN (Surcharge for Construction) inscription on the stamp, part of its value was specifically allocated to fund the construction or improvement of this vital building. 
The stamp was printed by the renowned American Bank Note Company, a name synonymous with high-quality and intricate security printing, which also produced many other stamps and banknotes around the world. Their craftsmanship is evident in the detailed engraving of the building.

Fine / Very Fine: A stamp with a basically complete design. There will be some significant handling or folds. The colour may have light fading. There may be one or two areas of minor damage. If postmarked it must be neat and only at the corner of the stamp, but some ink will be visible on the reverse side.
