This teapot was handcrafted and handpainted in Japan 1970s-1990s
The design features a gray haired granny holding a basket of red apples. She is dressed in a long pink-red dress, protected by a blue apron with patches of colorful vegetables.
The apron ties in the back. A yellow hat protects her head from the sun. Her cheeks are rosy and she has a happy smile on her face.
Granny is 21cm from handle to spout and 18cm tall.
The spout has a protective guard.
This is in very good vintage condition with only a small almost unnoticible chip on the rim of grannys neck.
The item has the Otagiriand Mary Ann Baker trademark on the bottom.
