Combination Mortise Marking Gauge (With Slide Adjuster) Wood & Brass - Restored & Functional

As there are now quite a few vintage marking gauges on BidorBuy, I thought it appropriate to add to the selection with some that have been restored for use.

This is a beautiful restored, complete and fully functional combination mortise marking gauge. It is made of wood and brass and has a brass slide adjuster mechanism with a metal fence locking screw.

Given the age of the marking gauge, the fence is a bit loose on the stem, but this will merely require a little more care in aligning to the required depth before tightening the fence locking screw.
