A little gem of a book for the WW2 buff. Published by HMSO (His Majesty's Stationary Office) in 1943. First edition. The cover has a tear at the top of the spine and the bottom righthand corner is bend. Inside pages folded over at bottom righthand corner up to page 12. Pages otherwise neat and clean. Binding still good. The book, issued by the UK Government Ministry of Information, contains an account of UK Combined Operations during 1940 and 1942 and its exploits. It has many interesting real-life articles with photographs and illustrations.
