Comfrey is loose hands the best investment you can make into your garden. They are fantastic for keeping all your vegetables healthy and they will be some of the first to show you that your garden needs watering or less watering. The leaves are used, chop and drop and are fantastic to companion fruit trees and veggies.
Cover the rhizome with 1cm of soil. Make sure your soil is loose and well-draining. The secret is not to dig up your root every day. The root will first form tiny white roots (Which are disturbed and broken when dug up) before shooting new leaves. So, patience is fantastic.
