In a nutshell:
After seven years the granddaddy of real-time strategy finally gets a proper sequel as GDI and the Brotherhood of Nod face off in the final part of the Tiberium trilogy. As normal you can take either side, as well as a third secret faction heavily hinted to be alien in origin¬タᆭ.
The lowdown:
The Command & Conquer games helped to kick start the real-time strategy genre back in the 90s and now finally this sequel is here to breath new life into what was an idea that seemed to get old long before its time. Naturally the graphics have been improved immensely, with tanks kicking up dust in their passing and larger explosions causing huge craters in the landscape. The artificial intelligence has also been hugely improved with expert path-finding for all units and a computer opponent that adjust its playing style to the pace of game you prefer. All of this is topped off by the dense storytelling fans love, including lots of live action cut scenes.
