This is a listing for a Commodore VIC20. The exterior and board is in a very good condition.
The 7 DIN socket for the 5 Volt supply has been removed as the internal Ground pins has sheared off, resulting in no power being applied to the board.
When it is switched on, the LED lights, but the screen does not display anything. I have replaced the processor and it did not change anything.
I have measured the master clock frequency on the processor and it displays 1.1082MHz which I believe is the correct frequency.
The video processor does draw current, but I do not know if this can be interpreted as a working chip.
Anyone with a working VIC20 I suppose can check if it is the video processor.
