CommScope NETCONNECT Cat 6 U/UTP LSZH Network Patch Cable 2m Grey — NPC06UZDB-GY002M
The CommScope NPC06UZDB-GY002M is a factory-terminated 2m Category 6 network patch cable for connecting compatible computers, switches, patch panels, routers, IP phones and other Ethernet equipment. It uses four unshielded twisted pairs with stranded, tin-plated copper conductors and standard RJ45 plugs at both ends. Its grey Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket makes it suitable for structured cabling installations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required.
Category 6 Network Performance
The cable meets ANSI/TIA Category 6 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class E transmission requirements. It is designed for dependable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity within a correctly installed Category 6 channel, making it suitable for office networks, communications rooms, data cabinets and other structured cabling environments.
Factory-terminated RJ45 Connections
Standard RJ45 plugs are fitted to both ends, allowing the cable to connect directly between compatible network ports. Factory termination provides a convenient ready-to-use connection without requiring separate plugs, crimping tools or on-site conductor termination.
Unshielded Four-pair Construction
The U/UTP construction uses four individually twisted conductor pairs without an overall metallic shield. A bisector separates the pairs inside the cable to help maintain Category 6 transmission performance, while the stranded 24 AWG conductors provide the flexibility needed for patching and equipment connections.
Low Smoke Zero Halogen Jacket
The LSZH jacket is designed to produce lower levels of smoke and halogen gases than conventional PVC materials when exposed to fire. This makes the patch cord a practical choice for applicable offices, data centres, equipment rooms and other occupied or enclosed spaces where LSZH cabling is specified.
Designed for High-density Patching
Transparent slim-line connector boots provide a consistent appearance and help preserve access to adjacent sockets in densely populated switches and patch panels. The 2m length offers useful reach between equipment while helping limit unnecessary cable slack inside a cabinet or workspace.
Power over Ethernet Support
The patch cord supports remote powering applications in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 recommendations when installed according to the applicable ISO, CENELEC or TIA cabling practices. It can therefore be used with compatible Power over Ethernet devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, surveillance cameras and building-management equipment.
