I bought this unit a long, long time ago and used it extensively. It is without doubt one of the best-designed PDAs I have ever owned. The unit is in 100% working order (even the battery seems in good shape), although it shows very slight rubmarks on its sides and back (due to insertion/removal into/from the hinged case). The stylus retention mechanism no longer works (i.e. the pop-up function works but does not grasp stylus in place). However, the display is in an immaculate condition and shows no signs of scratching or rubmarks because screen protectors were used from the very beginning.
The device features embedded Windows Mobile 2002 Premium Edition (Merlin). I recommend you only buy it if you a) are looking for a great stand-alone PDA, b) need to slaughter it for spares or c) work for a museum and are curator for a collection of vintage computer hardware. NOTE: This device is not a Smartphone/Mobile Phone. As it is very old (in computer terms) and no attempts have been made to connect it to a contemporary PC, I can not guarantee software compatibility with OSs such as Windows Vista or new versions of Outlook.
The unit is sold in its original box together with the following:
-AC Adapter
-Universal Sync Cradle (RS-232/USB)
-Companion CD
-User Manual/Quick Start Guide
-Protective Cover Pack
