 Compaq Proliant 3000 Server

Up for auction is a Compaq Proliant 3000 Network Server in fair cosmetic condition.  The body of the server has some scratches or scuffs on it due to normal wear and tear.  Please refer to the provided pictures for details.

We powered on the unit and ran the system bios.  From the bios we found that the server runs on a Xeon Pentium II 333 MHz with 512 Kb cache processor and 512MB of PC100 RAM.  There is a total of 12 slots, divided amongst two cages, for removable hard drives in the front of the unit.  Two 18.2 GB 10,000 RPM hard drives populate the slots, but they have been formatted and do not have an operating system, nor is the drive array configured so we cannot test them further or verify their functionality.  The system has 6 open memory slots for additional memory expansion.  The system comes with a floppy drive as well as a normal CD-ROM drive.  Internally, there are 3 pci boards installed, one looks like a scsi controller and the other two are some type of nic.  Other than turning on the unit and running the bios, no further testing was done to the unit as it did not have an operating system installed.  Due to seeing no functional problems with the server, we must sell this unit as working as described and pictured.
