A World War 2 era compass, as used by observers in a number of different bombers. It is a Type S.O.2 A compass with an Azimuth Circle No.4.
It is in uncleaned but good condition. The compass is empty of its fluid, but it can be refilled. It still points to North, but the dial does have some signs of age (see picture). The Azimuth Circle appears to be complete, but could do with a good clean.
This is a large item -- it has a diameter of 17cm and it stands 15cm tall with the Azimuth.
