 It is only natural that we want to find out more about our ancestors, and what better way to bring families together than by discovering more about the story of your own family?

This tutorial looks at genealogy from a South African point of view, but it can go global with most of our ancestors being immigrants.

We will define the various concepts for you, so that genealogy, heraldry, family tree, ancestor charts, surnames are well understood.

Included is a link for free (not trial period) software, to gather, save and print your information.
Blank forms are included, so that you can start immediately drawing up your family tree.

This tutorial starts from the basics, and you can go as far and high tech as you want. We will even tell you how to use google earth (free software) to enhance your experience, as well as going onto the web and doing research and linking up to other family sites.
I do not do personally do the research for you, but will guide you with on line advice should you so require.
