You are bidding on a complete collection of busts depicted on the large South African Silver One Rands of the 1960s. These were the very last silver coins minted in South Africa for general circulation purposes.
This collection comprises of the 1966 Jan Van Riebeeck set with both the Afrikaans and English legends, the 1967 HF Verwoerd set with both the Afrikaans and English legends and the 1969 Eben Donges set with both the Afrikaans and English legends.

Please note that the melting value of these large Silver Rands is now R66 each: So in terms of silver value, and excluding its collector’s value, the collection is worth almost R400.00
