Designed with a slightly larger, more rounded clubhead than previous models, the MP R-12 is constructed with the company’s well-known “grain flow forging” process for heightened feel and consistency. Aggressive grooves, a milled clubface and True Temper’s DG Spinner shaft add to overall playability by improving spin control. The grooves milled into each head vary depending on the loft of the club—lofts from 50 to 54 degrees have narrower, deeper grooves for better performance on full shots, while 56- to 64-degree lofts feature wider, shallower grooves that optimize spin on partial swings.
