Hardcover first published 1996 by Hamish Hamilton. The jacket is whole, with wear, chips and creases to edges, particularly at the head of the spine, and the spine is sunned. There is a label taped to the foot of the spine. The black boards with gilt titling are clean and square. Name of previous owner in pen to first end-paper, and a company stamp appears on the title page, below the signature of the author. The pages are lightly tanned, but otherwise clean and unmarked.
