Copeland Spode bone china "Lauriston" design teapot. This special teapot is marked with pattern number "Y5954", and the backstamp indicates the date of manufacture between 1940 and 1956. The shape is elegant, and the lid has a very pretty finial. The lid also has bears the manufacturer's marking. It is in excellent condition with no damage. You could easily pay US $169 for the coffee pot in this series. The asking price is very reasonable for a serious teapot or Spode collector ... or for someone who needs to complete a set; and even for the very brave at heart who want to start a new collection.
