This is a most unusual collecters item in that it is a perpetual calender starting in the year 1600 and ends in 2299 ! The item does unfortunately not photograph well as no matter what angle I photograph it at, it has some reflection which distorts the image. The copper calender is double sided, in front it has a series of numbers, the days of the week and the years as stated above stamped into it. The reverse side again has months of the year, days of the week and month numbers stamped into it, although in a different format to the front. The back also has a little slide built in which slides up and down revealing the numbered days of the week and the corresponding days. I have absolutely no idea how it works or how old it is, but it does come with handwritten instructions which is headed "alender Forever". The plaque measures 8.5cm's wide and is 14cm's long.
