COPPER PLATED SCOTTISH FLUMMERY MOULD
DESCRIPTION:
Flummery is made from boiled oatmeal seasoned with wine, beer or honey. Traditionally made for
Burns Night on the 25th January and eaten after the Haggis. Mould is made from tinplate steel
and is copper plated on the outside. Embossed with the Lion Rampant of Scotland in relief.
CONDITION:
Vintage with a rich patina and a few scratches.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 160mm in diameter X 50mm in height, with a 800ml capacity.
