By default the RAM runs at 1333Mhz 9-9-9-24 timings @ 1.5V with a command rate of 2N.
Both kits are stable to run with 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V with 1N command rate also, however I cannot say whether they run at tighter timings as I never tried those myself.
For me, both kits run stable at their rated 9-9-9-24 timings and command rate of 2N, at 1600Mhz, at as low as 1.54V on a H55-chipset motherboard with 1.12V on the IMC of a Xeon X3460, which is simply the Xeon version of a i7-860. This is lower than the rated required 1.65V and lower than many typically need to push their IMCs in order to achieve this sort of overclock.
I do not know whether the RAM overclocks to any higher as I have not tried, nor again do I know whether the timings could be tightened as I never tried that either. At most, I ran them at a command rate of 1N with the above timings and bus speed; for the most part they were stable with this, I was however running them with two 4GB sticks *not* rated for 1600Mhz and with less-tight default timings also.
Your mileage may of course vary, but I don't doubt that if the IMC voltage is managed automaticallly or more than the 1.12V I used, or you simply employ the XMP profile for the 1600Mhz speed, you will achieve a stable overclock all the same on any suitable chipset and IMC/CPU combination.
