Cosmos `candy stripe` - 25 seeds

25 x Cosmos candy stripe seeds

Cosmos 'candystripe' is a beautiful flowering annual producing large, daisy-like blooms with white petals marked by distinctive pink and crimson stripes. Easy to grow and highly floriferous, it creates a colourful display in garden beds and is excellent for attracting bees and butterflies. The long stems also make it well suited to cut flower arrangements.

Unique qualities:
White flowers with striking pink and crimson striping
Long-lasting, daisy-like blooms
Excellent cut flower
Attracts bees and butterflies

Growing season:
Cosmos 'candystripe' grows best when planted in spring and summer in well-drained soil and a sunny position. It tolerates heat and relatively dry conditions once established and generally performs best without excessive fertilisation, which can encourage foliage at the expense of flowers.

Time to harvest:
Expect flowering approximately 75100 days after planting. Harvest flowers when the petals have opened but the blooms are still fresh for the longest vase life. Regularly removing spent flowers encourages continued flowering throughout the growing season.
