This is a CPU de-lidding tool used to remove the lid of the CPU so you can replace the TIM (Thermal Induction Material) between the lid and the CPU die, this has been found to greatly reduce temperatures on most Intel CPU's and is most useful for overclockers with K CPU's.
Obviously this will void the warranty on your CPU, I also take no responsibility for any damage or loss caused by or a result of using this tool.
This is a de-lid tool only, it does not include re-lidding attachment, at some point you may want to change the paste so I did not bother with the re-lidding part for now, your heatsink or cooling block will provide sufficient force to hold it permanently.
All 37.5mm non-soldered Intel LGA CPU are supposed to be compatible, I have tested with another unit and de-lidded a 775 and 1155 CPU without issues, I do not have any other cpu's laying around to test more...
Note: There is a ridge that holds the CPU in place while delidding so don't think the CPU has been pushed into the plastic after you delid.
Here is a video demo of how to use the kit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmlvD9MRmWU

This kit has been 3D printed with PLA at 150μm resolution with 100% infill, as this is from the first batch I will refund you if the kit breaks within a month if you de-lid less than 5 CPU's.
