They can also be grown indoors as house plants. Those that make excellent house plants are the glossy leaf varieties. Crassulas, given a rich, well-drained medium will grow fast and luxuriantly.

Crassula perforata commonly known as Concertina Plant, Konsertinabossie, Sosaties and Sosatiesbossie is a South African endemic species from the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape Provinces where it can be found from Worcester to Pietermaritzburg. It is synonymously known as Crassula anthurus, Crassula conjuncta, Crassula nealeana, Crassula pattersoniae, Crassula perfilata and Crassula perfossa. Crassula perforata grows intp a scrambling shrub with oval leaves with red or yellow horny margins. It bears many small creamy flowers.
