100% of the blade has been hand forged and consists of high carbon AISI 1060 steel. The blade is temepered and water quenched. Hand sharpened this sword can cut through 2 pieces of bamboo with one single strike. Wooden saya and kurigata. Authentic shark skin samegawa and silk tsukamaki. Mixed metal tsuba, menuki, fuchi and kashira. This sword very suit for iaido and kenjutsu superior. When you the buyer has won the auction the sword will be send to you with a free sword bag.

Note: This blade was sharpened through traditional 12 processes hand sharpening works.
