OLD CARPENTRY TOOLS!!! I WAS TOLD BY JAMES KERR’S GRANDSON THAT THESE TOOLS (OR A VAST MAJORITY OF THEM) WERE ACTUALLY USED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TITANIC. JAMES KERR WAS A CARPENTER BASED IN BELFAST, IRELAND AND WORKED ON THE BALUSTRADE LEADING TO THE MAIN DINING-ROOM OF THE TITANIC. HE LATER EMMIGRATED TO SOUTH AFRICA AND THAT’S HOW THE TOOLS ENDED UP HERE. UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE DOCUMENTATION CONFIRMING THE ABOVE, ONLY HIS WORD ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE TOOLS DO DATE TO THAT PERIOD…

PLEASE VIEW THE PICS VERY CAREFULLY FOR FULL DETAILS AND CONDITION AS THE PICTURES ARE THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTUAL ITEM BEING SOLD. ALSO VIEW ALL THE OLD CARPENTER TOOL LISTED BY CLICKING THE LINK BELOW. COLLECTION IS WELCOME IN BOKSBURG OR STANDARD POSTAGE WILL APPLY.
