I received a few items to put on auction and grouped them into various lots. I am not an expert and do not offer any guarantee regarding the authenticity and age of the products. However, the photos are as per the items in our possession, and we tried to give as much detail as possible to the photos.
1. A powder horn like the horns used by Voortrekkers during the Battle of Italeni in 1838. A horn like this was used by Dirkie Uys during that time however, we cannot vouch for the age of this one. The seller indicated that the horn is in the family for 4 generations at least. Length 50cm
2. Binoculars / Spyglass dating back to Boer War era
3. Leather knapsack of complete Steenbok dating back to Boer War era
