We have a Boosey & Hawkes Copper Brass Bugle with the following engraved on it:

Supplied by

Boosey & Hawkes

(SA) (Pty) Ltd

Cape Town

Made in

England

  • Unfortunately, we could not find any serial number on the item to determine the year of manufacture however, it seems that Boosey & Hawkes only amalgamated in 1934 (from Boosey Co and Hawkes Co, two competitors), thus drawing the conclusion that this item was manufactured after 1934. Indications are that the 1st brass instruments by the new company were made in 1935 though.
  • Mouthpiece included as per photos.
  • There is a mark on the bugle that we could not identify.

As I am not an expert on the item, I offer a 100% 10-day money back guarantee.
