I have received a collection of knifes to be sold at auction. The items are mainly individually listed with a few in sets of 2 or more.

I am not an expert and do not offer any guarantee with the regards to the authenticity and age of the products however, the photos are as per the item in our possession, and we tried to give as much detail as possible to the photos.

Vintage Jowika two-blade folding pocketknife. The Jowika Knife Company of Solingen, Germany opened a secondary manufacturing plant in Ireland and continued manufacturing these quality knives which were exported to other western countries.

This antique has on one side embossed portraits of Transvaal President Paul Kruger and Boer General Christiaan Rudolf de Wet below it. The underneath is impressed the text Orange Vrijst., with a version of the Orange Free State coat of arms and. Beneath this in the center is impressed Eendracht maakt Macht (Unity makes Strength) and below that, the text Transvaal with a version of the Transvaal coat of arms. The knife has two blades.  The blades show signs of sharpening, wear and age, commonly found with knives from this era. Engraving on the blade: JOWIKA, SOLINGEN.
