For starters, the TyTN 2 runs on Windows Mobile 6 and packs 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, making it much faster at running applications. Like the TyTN, the TyTN 2 has HSDPA (3.5G) and Wi-Fi, but it also flaunts a built-in GPS receiver.
Add to the GPS a large colour touchscreen and some sat-nav software, and you have a nifty navigation device that will take you where you need to go.
The sliding keyboard makes it even easier to type your emails and messages on the go. With the excellent 3.15 megapixel camera and secondary camera for video calling, staying in contact has never been simpler. Music and pictures can also be easily synchronised, so you have them with you wherever you are.
As you can see, the screen automatically switches into landscape mode when you pull the keypad out. The HTC TyTN 2's Qwerty keypad is easy to use and leaves acres of space for manoeuvring your thumb.
Unlike the original TyTN, the HTC TyTN 2 P4550 lets you tilt the screen upwards, which is really useful if you want to view video while resting it on a table -- handy for the plane, jet-setters.
Tilting the TyTN 2's screen up is also good for making video calls, as the VGA camera points towards you at a better angle.
On the back of the TyTN 2 there's a 3-megapixel camera, which is sharper than the original TyTN's 2-megapixel effort.
With the world at your fingertips, the HTC TyTN II makes on-the-move business a real pleasure.
