Pair Instructions:
1. To enter learning mode, hold the CRC86E category key (TV, Box or DVD) for 3 seconds. The CRC86E Home/App button will light steadily. The CRC86E will now be in learning mode for the selected category. Be quick because if no key is pressed in about 5-8 seconds the CRC86E will drop out of learning mode.

Point the CRC86E and the remote that you want to copy at each other (2 inches apart). Press the button on the CRC86E that you want to learn. The Home/App light will flash slowly. Press the corresponding key on the remote that you want to copy. The Home/App light will quickly flash and then go steady. That key is now learned.

Now you can quickly learn all the keys in your chosen category by repeating the process. Press the CRC86E key to learn, then press the corresponding key on the remote that you want learn etc. You can easily program an entire category in less than two minutes. Once the category is finished, press the category button (TV, Box or DVD). The Home/App light will go out, and learning mode will cease.

You can learn from any IR remote, and you can mix and match. I have my air conditioner and an Android TV box remote mapped to the DVD category on the CRC86E, and I have a fan and my TV remote mapped to the TV category on the CRC86E. Granted, some of my keys have strange mappings. My fan is mapped to the CRC86E fast forward, rewind and stop keys.
Please note the previous remote will be needed to be able to learn the keys.
