System requirements

According to Creative, you must have the following things to install the Extigy:

• Intel PentiumII 350 MHz or higher processor;
• Intel or 100%-compatible chipset;
• Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP;
• 64 MBytes RAM for Windows 98 SE, 128 MBytes for Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP;
• 250 MBytes free on a hard drive;
• Free USB port;
• Headphones or active speakers (do not come with the Extigy);
• CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive;
• SVGA or better video card (256 colors or higher).

For listening to multichannel games, DVD movies and Internet radio with the Extigy it's necessary to provide:

• Intel PentiumII 450 MHz or higher;
• Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP;
• 128 MBytes RAM (min.) for games;
• 3D graphics accelerator with 8 MBytes of texture memory;
• 300-500 MBytes free on a hard drive for system's or games' needs;
• External hardware DVD player or, for a computer, a DVD-ROM drive of at least the second generation (2X and higher speed) and a program DVD player: InterVideo WinDVD 2000 or CyberLink PowerDVD 3.0 and higher;
• Internet radio requires at least an Internet dial-up connection at 56 Kbit/s.
