Creeps by Night by Hammett, Dashiell - rare and hard to find
Published by World Pub, Cleveland and New York, date  ??? 1944
The book is foxed and the pages fore edges are untrimmed (see note below) besides most of the title page having been sadly torn off the book is intact. Please note that the back & front covers inside shows weakness along the spine where the fabric can be seen and at the back along the top of the spine there is what looks like a water stain, a few pages are taped. The red cover is fabric, embossed title in black, a bit faded especially along the spine, edging is frayed, some scuffs and corner bending.

The pages appear to be ragged probably due to them being uncut / untrimmed as were many old books published 

in the early 19th century.

Back cover top along spine water mark and split where one can visibly see the fabric binding.
