Cricket Bat signed by SA & Indian players: 1992 Test Match

This cricket bat was signed by both the South African and Indian cricket teams who participated in the first test on South African soil since South Africa being readmitted to the international arena (South Africa's first home test since March 1970). The test was drawn and during this test Sachin Tendulkar became the first player in cricket history to be dismissed by a TV replay.

Autographs include:

Indian legends like Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Ravi Shastri, AjayJadeja, Sanjay Manjrekar, Mohammad Azharuddin (captain during test), Pravin Amre, Manoj Prabhakar, Kiran More (wicketkeeper), Javagal Srinath.

South African legends like Jimmy Cook, Andrew Hudson, Kepler Wessels (captain and scored 118 during first innings of this test), Peter Kirsten, Jonty Rhodes, Dave Richardson (wicketkeeper), Brian McMillan, Omar Henry, Meyrick Pringle, Allan Donald, Brett Schultz.

Pravin Amre was the Man of the Match for this test.

Because of his 118 during this test, Kepler Wessels becomes the first player to score a century for two different countries in Tests (he played for Australia during the early 80's).

During this test Omar Henry becomes the first player of colour to represent South Africa in a cricket test match and is also the oldest debutant to play for South Africa (he was 40 years and 295 days old).
