The Cricut Maker 4 is a desktop manufacturing device for helping do it yourself (DIY) crafters make crafting projects. It takes images created in a software design environment and recreates the images in fabric, leather, paper and soft woods using tools to cut, score, draw, transfer, perforate, engrave and write on these materials.

Engineered for speed & accuracy; Expanded project possibilities - Makes projects up to 12 in x 24 in (30.4 cm x 60.9 cm) on a machine mat & up to 12 ft (3.6 m) long with Smart Materials; Built-in sensor - Recognises & precision-cuts around inkjet-printed images to create full-colour stickers & so much more; Writes, draws, foils & scores - Embellishes projects with flawless text, detailed illustrations, or easy-to-fold creases for cards & 3D projects; Debosses, engraves & more - 13 compatible tools means this machine can deboss leather, engrave metal, cut wood & so much more

The overall design is similar to a desktop printer or plotter with an electrically driven head that moves the design tools laterally and feed rollers that move the crafting materials longitudinally. The combination of these movements gives 2 axis motion to perform the desired actions (cutting, drawing, etc.) on the crafting materials in a 2 dimensional flat plane.

Machine is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. Do not use in or near water. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
