Hardcover first edition published by Alfred A. Knopf, 1954. The jacket has several minor chips and tears to the edges, and larger pieces missing from the head and foot of the spine, and a small hole in the rear panel. It is covered in a plastic sleeve. The yellow decorative boards are clean and solid, but with some wear to the edges. The page edges are rought cut, with red top-stain. There are small patches of spotting / foxing to some of the pages, and some also have light creases in place, but they are otherwise clean and unmarked. Zambezi, Kariba Gorge, hunting.
