Hardcover first published 1960 by Jarrold's Publishers, no jacket. The boards are worn, scuffed and marked, with short frays to the covering on either side of the head and foot of the spine. The name of a previous owner is written in large red marker pen letters on the first end-paper. There is sporadic foxing / spotting to the first and last few pages, as well as to the external page edges, that in places also appears on the internal page perimeters, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
