Croton sylvaticus commonly known as Fever Tree, Forest Croton or Forest Fever-berry in English and Koorsboom, Wilde Moerbei or Without in Afrikaans is a South African indigenous species from the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces. It forms a 7 meter to 13 meter tree. During summer is bears cream to pale yellow flowers in spikes. These are followed by bright orange fruit. This is a beautiful and decorative shade tree.
