The "GOURDS" are described by their shape and uses. A word of caution about gourds, and gourd crafting, it can become addictive. "GOURDS" are too much fun. The most interesting thing about gourds is the people you meet. "Gourds" can be grown anywhere where pumpkins or squash will grow. "GOURDS" are fun for the young the old the whole family.

There are three basic categories of gourds:

•        Lagenaria family (hard shells)

•        Cucurbita family (Ornamental)

•        Luffa

Sizes of the gourds may vary. Gourds can be from 1" high to 36" high, or more. Depends on types and growing conditions.
