Edouard Manet (1832 - 1883) painted his original work of art in 1874. He was great friends with Claude Monet and his painting is of Monet and is entitled "Monet Painting In His Studio Boat". It's exhibited at Bayerisches National Museum in Munich. This gorgeous plate is representative of that art work. It has a wide gilt border and it's in beautiful condition. The diameter is 27 cm.
