CSI Hard Evidence Wii

CSI: Hard Evidence for the Nintendo Wii is a mature-rated investigative adventure gamewhere players step into the role of a crime scene investigator, solving five original cases with the help of the cast from the popular television series. The gameplay focuses on exploring crime scenes, collecting and analyzing evidence, and interrogating suspects to bring criminals to justice. 

Gameplay Mechanics

The game uses the Wii Remote to simulate various forensic activities. Players use a point-and-click interface to search for hidden evidence in detailed, though sometimes graphically limited, 3D environments. 

Key activities include:

• Evidence Collection: Using tools like flashlights, gloves, and swabs to find and gather clues at the scene.
• Laboratory Analysis: Examining evidence in the lab using mini-games with equipment such as comparison microscopes and trace analysis computers. A new garage lab feature allows for the analysis of large items like cars and boats.
• Forensic Techniques: Recreating scenarios with in-game tools, such as using ballistic lasers to track bullet trajectories and video analysis to uncover secrets.
• Interrogations: Questioning witnesses and suspects to find inconsistencies in their stories and piece together the sequence of events. 

Story and Atmosphere

The game features five distinct and bizarre criminal cases, each designed to feel like an episode of the CSI show. Players interact with voice-overs from the actual cast members, including Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows, which adds to the game's authenticity for fans of the series. 

The cases include scenarios such as the murder of an eye surgeon where the only witness is his blind wife, and the death of an entire rock band. The goal is to build a case based purely on the facts and evidence to ensure a conviction.
