Hi there!
This guitar turned out way way better than i expected! I made this myself as i dabble a bit in guitar building.
I Based this guitar shape on one of my favourite shapes, that of the older Cort G-Series guitars.
I wanted to get a nice texture on the guitar body. Some Guitars are just so sterile looking with mirror finishes. Just wanted to try something different.
This specific guitar is a telecaster-type guitar. Nice sounding single coil in the front with some nice "Twang" and a Humbucker at the back for great drive. The pickup selector switch is a three position switch like on the standard telecaster. It has one volume and one tone control. The action is nice. Not to high but not too low. The neck was from another guitar i had no use for.
i Used pine wood, which you would expect to be crappy, but Fender has started producing some strats and teles with pine.
It sounds awesome! I used it once with a solid state amp and got very good feedback from fellow band members about the sound.
The bridge is a chopped off Tele Ashtray bridge to fit the humbucker in the right position.
The hole in the controll plate will be filled with a toggle switch that will allow coil splitting of the humbucker.
( please note the guitar is solid. It will not fall apart on you. All the cracks and splits came out as intended. It looks so cool. )
This guitar was a labour of love. I hope you can enjoy it too!
