For Button Battery Tester: Push the switch downward. Put the battery onto the aBattery Checking Plate Positiona for testing, ensure positive (+) side is downward. Press down the plastic button, the battery level lights wil indeicate the voltage. Yellow light = Renew is necessary, weak voltage. 1st green light = Low, 1.05 volts. 2nd green light = Good, 1.55 volts. 3rd green light = Good, 3.00 volts.
