This exquisite porcelain figurine was created by the renowned Dahl Jensen Porcelain Factory, established in 1925 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen. Dahl Jensen previously worked as a master modeler at Bing & Grøndahl from 1897 to 1917, and became known for his exceptional craftsmanship and naturalistic figurines.

The factory produced a wide range of beautiful and detailed porcelain pieces, including its famous oriental series and lifelike animal figures. Though Dahl Jensen passed away in 1960, the factory continued producing until 1981, closing officially in 1984 after the remaining stock was sold.
