The Dahua DH-HAC-B2A21P 2MP HDCVI Fixed-Focal Bullet Camera with 2.8 mm Lens is a wired Full HD surveillance camera for homes, shops, offices and professional CCTV installations. Its wide-angle lens is suited to monitoring entrances, rooms, passages, driveways and other areas where broad scene coverage is more important than close-up detail at long distances. The metal IP67 housing, Smart IR night vision and support for multiple analogue video formats make it suitable for new installations and compatible system upgrades.
Key Features
- Clear Full HD monitoring. The 2MP CMOS sensor produces video at up to 1920 × 1080 resolution for general property surveillance.
- Covers a wider area. The 2.8 mm fixed lens provides an approximately 100° horizontal field of view, helping reduce blind spots in entrances, rooms and shorter outdoor areas.
- Monitors after dark. Built-in Smart IR illumination provides black-and-white night vision at distances of up to 20 metres.
- Prevents washed-out night images. Smart IR adjusts the infrared intensity as people or objects approach the camera, helping preserve visible detail at close range.
- Suitable for exposed installations. The IP67-rated metal enclosure protects the camera against dust and water when correctly installed.
- Works with multiple analogue formats. The BNC output can be switched between HDCVI, TVI, AHD and CVBS to suit compatible surveillance recorders.
- Improves difficult scenes. DWDR, backlight compensation and 2D noise reduction help produce more usable images in mixed lighting and low-light conditions.
- Allows accurate positioning. The three-axis mounting arrangement supports wall or ceiling installation and can be adjusted to point the camera towards the required area.
Compatibility & App Support
The camera requires a compatible XVR or analogue DVR with a BNC video input, together with a suitable 12 V DC power supply. The selected HDCVI, TVI, AHD or CVBS output format must match the format supported by the recorder channel.
This is not a standalone IP or Wi-Fi camera. Recording, internet connectivity and mobile viewing are provided by the connected recorder and depend on the recorders supported software or mobile app.
Compatible optional Dahua accessories include the PFA134 junction box, PFA152-E pole-mount bracket, PFM321D 12 V power adapter and PFM800-E passive HDCVI balun.

Did You Know?
- This camera does not need its own IP address or network configuration. It sends video to the recorder through a wired BNC connection, while the recorder handles storage, network access and remote viewing.
- A 2.8 mm lens shows a wider scene than a 3.6 mm lens, but people and objects appear smaller at the same distance. It is generally better suited to broad coverage than to identifying subjects far from the camera.
- The cameras BNC output can be changed between four video formats. The picture will only display correctly when the selected camera format is supported and correctly configured on the recorder channel.
