The Dahua DHI-ARA14-W2(868) Wireless Intercom Siren combines indoor sound and light alarm notification with two-way voice communication for compatible Dahua wireless alarm systems. It is suited to homes, offices and commercial sites where occupants or a monitoring centre may need to communicate through the alarm system after an event. A built-in microphone, panic button and configurable warning tones make it more than a standard indoor siren, while the supplied batteries allow installation without a dedicated power cable.
Key Features
Provides a strong local warning. The siren produces a high-volume alarm of up to 105 dB(A) at one metre, helping alert occupants and draw attention to an alarm event.
Supports two-way voice communication. The built-in microphone and speaker allow communication through the compatible alarm hub, DMSS app or supported SIP platform.
Distinguishes between alarm events. Separate sounds can be used for fire, medical, intrusion, panic and other alarm types, helping occupants understand the nature of the alert.
Includes a dedicated panic button. Pressing and holding the front panic button can immediately report an emergency through the connected alarm system.
Communicates over extended distances. The 868MHz wireless connection supports alarm transmission over distances of up to 1,600 metres and intercom communication up to 1,000 metres in open conditions.
Protects wireless communication. AES-128 encryption, two-way communication and frequency hopping help maintain a stable and protected connection with the alarm hub.
Monitors interference and power status. Tamper detection, low-battery monitoring and signal-strength testing help identify installation or maintenance issues.
Offers flexible power options. Use the four supplied CR123A batteries or connect a suitable 9V to 15V DC supply where permanent wired power is preferred.

The panic button can be linked to a compatible camera channel through the alarm system. When configured, pressing the button can report the emergency together with associated video.
An intercom conversation can be started from a reported alarm message in the DMSS app. Individual intercom sessions can run for up to 20 minutes.
The siren can report a failure of its external DC power supply through DMSS when external-power detection is enabled. The batteries can therefore provide a separate power option while the system reports the wired-power problem.
Compatibility & App Support
The DHI-ARA14-W2(868) is designed for compatible Dahua ARC3800H-series wireless alarm hubs. It is not suitable for the ARC3000H or ARA43 series. Intercom functions can be enabled through the DMSS and DoLynk Care mobile apps, while supported monitoring environments can communicate through SIP. This listing is for the 868MHz version, so the hub and wireless accessories must use the corresponding frequency.
