CLASSIC VINTAGE 9CT YELLOW GOLD DROP AND DANGLE CAMEO EARRINGS. WELL HALLMARKED.

These classic design handcrafted earrings feature a smooth salmon-coloured oval shell, with the profile of a woman in creamy opaque shell. The details are surprisingly intricate; the hair is textured, the features have 3-dimensional sculpting. The oval shell is claw set in 9ct yellow gold, dangling off a long hook, with a geometric long diamond shape spacer between the hook and the cameo. The earring measures 8mm wide x 28mm long. The pedigree of the earrings is evident in the many hallmarks: they bear the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold, the Birmingham Assay mark, the year mark for 1989 and the jeweller's signature. The small earrings weigh a dainty 1.50 grams together. They might be 30 years old but they are in really good condition. The cameo faces still have excellent raised relief. Classic elegance and very English vintage collectable!
