This dainty ring features a round-faceted diamond solitaire presented on elongated 9ct yellow gold claws. The diamond is brilliant-cut with a weight of 0,15ct. Colour K-L and clarity SI1. It is raised 5mm above the finger, in the centre of the 9mm wide x 5mm long ring head. Decorative openwork around the extended claws  adds interest to the piece. The ring head is supported on a slender 9ct yellow gold shank. The ring bears the 375 hallmark for 9ct gold, the London Assay mark and the date hallmark for 1990. The piece is beautifully crafted, is in good condition and weighs 1,76 grams. This is a classic vintage engagement ring or a lovely collectable for the vintage jewellery box! I have had the ring checked and authenticated by an independent jeweller. Her certificate for insurance purposes of R10'000 will accompany the ring.
