I obtained this dainty little ring from a favourite vintage jeweller in England. It features a trilogy of small, round cut garnets in a deep burnt orange hue, claw set in 9ct yellow gold. The ring head is a simple triangle of the garnets, set in 9ct yellow gold that supports the two garnets underneath with the one side of the shank, but which curves on the shoulder of the other side of the trilogy, to support the single garnet. The ring head is open underneath the garnets to allow light through. The 1,05 gram ring bears some interesting hallmarks - the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature and the London Assay mark. The date is unfortunately too worn, but the typeface of the hallmarks is a clear indication of it being quite a few decades old.
Ring head: 5mm long x 5mm wide Weight: 1,05 grams Ring size: 7 ('O' in SA or British sizing)
Please look at the specifications carefully as the photography enlarges the jewellery!
