PRETTY DAINTY HEART-FACETED PINK SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND 9CT WHITE GOLD RING.

 This dainty, detailed piece is crafted in 9ct white gold, with an interesting ring head design - a 5mm x 5mm heart-faceted sapphire in a strong pink is claw set in the centre of the ring head, with 2 x small, single-cut diamonds flanking the heart. The slender white gold shank widens on the shoulder, at the same time bearing an elongated oval openwork, coming to a narrow point, only to open again in the shape of a small horizontal heart with the diamond claw set in the middle. The other shoulder mirrors this design. The ring head measures 5mm long x 8mm wide x 5mm high. The piece weighs a dainty 1,3 grams and bears the hallmarks: 375 for 9ct gold, the Birmingham Assay mark, and the jeweller's signature. I have had the piece assessed and valued by an independent jeweller at R16'000; a certificate to that effect will accompany the ring. A pretty, romantic piece!
