CLASSIC DAINTY SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND 9CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD RING.

 This dainty, classic piece is crafted in 9ct yellow gold, with a trilogy ring head design - a central oval-faceted 5mm long x 3,5mm 0,35ct deep blue sapphire is set on elongated claws 5mm above the finger. This is flanked by 2 x single-cut 0,02ct diamonds set on 9ct white gold elongated claws - an 'illusion' setting; the white gold accenting the size and sparkle of the diamonds. Openwork beneath the gallery rail and bearing allows light through the gemstones, maximising sparkle and colour. A slender yellow gold shank supports the 5mm long x 9mm wide ring head. The piece weighs a dainty 1,5 grams and bears the hallmarks: 375 indicating 9ct gold, the London Assay mark, the date ??? and the jeweller's signature. I have had the piece assessed and valued by an independent jeweller at R12'000; a certificate to that effect will accompany the ring. A classic piece.
