VERY SMALL 9CT YELLOW GOLD AND DIAMOND OPENWORK
'LUCKY' HORSESHOE RING. 375. UNUSUAL DESIGN.

This dainty piece is created in 9ct yellow gold and features a 'lucky horseshoe' in the design. A slender shank passes under the finger, forking on the shoulder on the right hand side to create an oval openwork loop, where the gold band turns back on itself, joining seamlessly. On the left of the ring, the shank forks as if to match the right hand loop, but the shape remains unclosed, slightly flattened from above, and featuring small round cut diamonds, claw set within the horseshoe that crosses over the counterpoint pf the ring head, almost creating an eternity sign. The ring head has been finished with deep set texture markings in 9ct gold. Measuring 15mm wide x 14mm long and weighing 1.77 grams, the piece bears the 375 hallmark for 9ct gold. Please note the very small ring size! G is tiny. It would be a perfect little piece for a small pinkie or even ideal for a horse-mad young girl. Pretty, and unusual - the ring is vintage English and does have some buff marks on the gold in keeping with its age.
